WINTER CAMP

KIA KIMA TRAIL CREW

Kia Kima Trail Crew (KKTC) is a program sponsored by Ahoalan-Nachpikin Lodge at Kia Kima Winter Camp (December 27-30). Participants will be constructing lasting trails throughout the Reservation while learning about proper conservation techniques. Work may include clearing brush, bench-cutting new trail, marking trails, constructing water erosion control, and repairing old trails.

The program will include two full days of physical labor. Scouts will not be able to sign up to take a merit badge at Winter Camp, but may still camp with their unit. Participants must be at least 15 years old but not yet 21 and also an Order of the Arrow member in good standing with their lodge. Space is limited to 8 people and is based on application. There is a cost of Winter Camp is $90 per participant (that is the Winter Camp Youth Without Meals option). Food will be provided.
